Transfer Innsbruck to Galtur
Galtür lies around 110 km west of Innsbruck Airport, at the far end of the Paznaun valley beyond Ischgl and Kappl. In normal winter conditions, the drive takes approximately 90 minutes, following the A12 Inntal Autobahn westward and then the full length of the Paznaun valley road to the village.
Your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a name board, ready to assist with luggage and ski equipment the moment you land. From there it’s a direct run – no detours, no additional pickups – arriving at your hotel or guesthouse in Galtür comfortably.
If your flight is delayed, there’s nothing for you to do – we monitor it automatically and adjust your pickup time, at no extra cost.

Friendly drivers. Reasonable price.

They are professional drivers who know the mountain roads like the back of their hands
Our booking was for a 17.40 arrival at Innsbruck to take us up to Obergurgl. Due to bad weather our flight was diverted to Munich. We were bused back to Innsbruck arriving at 2.30 AM , almost 9 hrs late ! I’d kept the firm advised by texts and phone calls - and sure enough as the bus pulled into Innsbruck airport our driver was sitting waiting for us at 2.30 AM . He then proceeded to load our bags and drive us ( expertly) up the mountain to Obergurgl in thick snow and ice . We arrived at 4.30 am
The driver spoke good English and was extremely polite and professional . I would recommend this firm to anyone needing a taxi in the area - exceptional service at a great price ! THANK YOU

About Galtur
Galtür sits at the end of the Paznaun valley, beyond Ischgl, at an altitude of around 1,580 metres. It is one of the most genuinely peaceful and unspoiled ski villages in Tyrol – a place where the emphasis is firmly on the mountains, the snow, and the quality of the skiing rather than the nightlife or the crowds.
The village’s own ski area is compact but excellent, with terrain that suits families and intermediate skiers particularly well. A connection to the broader Silvretta ski area links Galtür to a wider network of pistes, and day trips to Ischgl are straightforward for those wanting access to larger terrain. The resort’s high altitude ensures reliable snow conditions throughout a long season.
Galtür has its own distinctive character – more family-oriented, quieter, and noticeably less commercial than its famous neighbour. The traditional Tyrolean architecture, excellent mountain restaurants, and unhurried pace of life make it a particularly good choice for those seeking a genuine Alpine experience away from the busier resorts.
Whether you’re staying in a family hotel, a cosy guesthouse, or a private chalet, we take you directly from Innsbruck Airport to your door.
