Transfer Innsbruck to Mayrhofen
Mayrhofen lies around 73 km east of Innsbruck Airport in the Zillertal valley. In normal winter conditions, the drive takes approximately 60 minutes, heading east along the A12 Inntal Autobahn before turning south into the valley toward Mayrhofen.
Your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a name board, ready to assist with luggage and ski equipment the moment you land. From there it’s a direct run – no detours, no additional pickups – arriving at your hotel or chalet in Mayrhofen quickly and comfortably.
If your flight is delayed, there’s nothing for you to do – we monitor it automatically and adjust your pickup time, at no extra cost.

Friendly drivers. Reasonable price.

They are professional drivers who know the mountain roads like the back of their hands
Our booking was for a 17.40 arrival at Innsbruck to take us up to Obergurgl. Due to bad weather our flight was diverted to Munich. We were bused back to Innsbruck arriving at 2.30 AM , almost 9 hrs late ! I’d kept the firm advised by texts and phone calls - and sure enough as the bus pulled into Innsbruck airport our driver was sitting waiting for us at 2.30 AM . He then proceeded to load our bags and drive us ( expertly) up the mountain to Obergurgl in thick snow and ice . We arrived at 4.30 am
The driver spoke good English and was extremely polite and professional . I would recommend this firm to anyone needing a taxi in the area - exceptional service at a great price ! THANK YOU

About Mayrhofen
Mayrhofen is one of the Zillertal’s most popular and characterful ski resorts – a lively market town at the head of the valley that combines a broad ski area with a genuinely welcoming village atmosphere. The resort is a favourite among British and Dutch skiers in particular, who return year after year for the reliable conditions, varied terrain, and excellent après-ski.
The ski area – accessed from the village via the Ahornbahn or Penken gondolas – offers over 600 km of pistes across the broader Zillertal Arena when combined with neighbouring resorts. Mayrhofen itself is famous for the Harakiri piste, Austria’s steepest groomed run, though there is equally excellent terrain for beginners and intermediate skiers throughout the area.
Whether you’re staying in a central hotel, a family pension, or a chalet in the surrounding area, we take you directly to your door.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the transfer from Innsbruck Airport to Mayrhofen take?
Around 60 minutes in normal winter driving conditions.
Is there a direct train from Innsbruck to Mayrhofen?
There is a Zillertalbahn (narrow gauge railway) from Jenbach to Mayrhofen, but getting there requires changing trains at Jenbach and is impractical with ski equipment and luggage. A private transfer takes you directly from the airport to your accommodation.
Can you transport skis and snowboards?
Yes. All our minivans are equipped to carry ski bags, boot bags, and snowboards as standard – there’s no need to request this in advance, but do let us know if your group has an unusually large amount of equipment.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We monitor your flight in real time and adjust your pickup automatically. There’s no need to contact us, and no extra charge applies.
Do you provide child seats?
Yes, child and booster seats are available free of charge. Please specify the ages of your children when booking so we can prepare the right seats.
Is this a private transfer, or will we share the vehicle with other passengers?
Your transfer is entirely private. The vehicle is booked exclusively for you and your group – no shared shuttles, no additional stops.
Can I book my return transfer to the airport at the same time?
Yes, you can book your outbound and return transfer together during the booking process, or add your return journey at any time before your trip.
